What makes Naora different from traditional travel?
This isn’t about booking a trip. It’s about stepping into a journey we’ve shaped over years, one that unfolds slowly, guided by seasons, places we know, and the people who become part of it. Everything behind the experience is taken care of. The planning, the decisions, the complexities of moving across oceans, all of it is handled by an experienced, proven team. This allows you to experience life at sea in its purest form, without the constraints or limitations of charter or the structure of a cruise. You’re not passing through a destination. You’re part of something that moves, evolves, and deepens over time. You don’t just experience it. You become part of it.
How often can I join the journey?
Access is defined by the time you choose to spend on board. Our memberships range from shorter stays to more extended time at sea. The Coastal membership offers access for one week per year, Offshore provides up to 40 days, and Ocean Explorer extends to 100 days on board. This allows you to move with the journey at your own pace, whether you prefer a single moment, or a deeper, more continuous experience throughout the year. For those seeking full privacy, the yacht can also be reserved exclusively for personal use. Over time, many find themselves returning more often, not out of plan, but because it naturally becomes part of their life.
What does my access include?
Your membership grants you time on board within the global journey. This includes accommodation, crew, chef, core onboard experiences, and access to the Naora community, both at sea and on shore. From the moment you join, you are guided personally. From onboarding and preparation, including support for longer ocean crossings, to the details that shape life on board. Everything is designed to feel effortless. From ocean to shore transitions, to curated beach gatherings, to the essentials you’ll find on board, including a considered welcome package. Beyond the journey itself, you become part of a private circle of like-minded individuals, a connection that extends far beyond your time at sea.
How does availability work?
Availability opens in a considered way as the journey unfolds. Individual segments are typically released around 60 days in advance. Coastal members can arrange their time from that moment, while Offshore and Ocean Explorer members receive earlier access, usually around two weeks prior. Once you become a member, you receive personal access to a private platform where you can view availability and manage your time on board with ease. At the same time, we remain closely involved, ensuring everything feels effortless and well guided.
How are cabins structured on board?
The yacht features six private cabins, each designed for double occupancy, as well as a separate cabin with two bunk beds. Solo travelers are absolutely welcome. In fact, many of our guests travel alone. By default, single guests are accommodated in the bunk cabin, at no additional cost. For those who prefer a private cabin, single occupancy can be arranged upon availability. In this case, the usage is simply adjusted, typically equivalent to +50% or, on selected legs, +100%, by applying additional days rather than a financial surcharge. This ensures the structure remains consistent, without impacting the overall value of the experience. Life on board is naturally social, with a small group of like-minded individuals sharing the journey.
Can I share or transfer my time on board?
Yes, with the Ocean Explorer tier. Your time can be shared with or transferred to family or close friends, allowing others to experience the journey within your membership.
Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes, upgrades are possible at any time. Any adjustment is calculated proportionally, based on the remaining period of your membership, ensuring a fair and balanced approach. Once upgraded, your new level of access becomes active immediately, allowing you to benefit from the additional flexibility and privileges without delay.
What happens if I don’t use my time?
We understand that plans can shift. For Offshore members, up to 10 unused days can be carried over into the following season, while Ocean Explorer members can carry over up to 20 days, offering additional flexibility when needed. This carry-over is designed to maintain the overall balance and flow of the journey. Alternatively, unused days can be shared with someone close to you, allowing the experience to extend beyond your own time on board.
What is the difference between the membership fee and the annual fee?
Your membership gives you access to the Naora circle, even without joining the journey at sea. You remain part of the network, both digitally and through selected onshore gatherings, including private events and beach gatherings. Time on board is linked to the annual participation, but your connection to the community remains. You also retain access to our partner network, with preferred conditions and curated benefits. As part of this, you receive a considered set of Naora essentials, and remain connected to the journey as part of the extended digital circle.
What exactly is the Naora Season pass?
The Naora Season pass gives you access to a full chapter of the journey within a specific region such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, or Pacific. Rather than joining for a single trip, you move within that region over time, across multiple legs and destinations, following the natural rhythm of the expedition. You are free to join and leave throughout the season via our designated hubs. Some choose to stay for extended periods, others move in and out depending on their schedule. The Season is designed around flexibility without losing continuity.
Are children allowed on board?
Naora journeys are designed as a refined, adult-focused experience, shaped by the rhythm of life at sea, longer passages and a calm, shared atmosphere. For this reason, children are not part of our shared expeditions. Families are welcome on private journeys, where the experience can be fully tailored to your pace, preferences and needs, ensuring both comfort and safety on board.
How are payments handled?
We accept a range of payment methods, including bank transfers, credit cards, and selected digital assets. All funds are held in an independent escrow structure and are only released at the start of your time on board. This approach ensures that everything is handled securely, transparently, and with complete peace of mind.
Do you accept cryptocurrency?
Yes. We accept selected digital assets — including Bitcoin — alongside traditional payment methods, ensuring a secure and considered process throughout.
Is there internet on board?
Yes, the vessel is equipped with complimentary onboard connectivity. At the same time, the experience is designed to offer a natural shift away from constant connection allowing you to disconnect when you choose, and reconnect when needed.
What additional costs should I expect?
While life on board is largely all-inclusive, certain elements remain variable, such as alcohol, fuel contributions for longer passages, and exceptional external costs, ensuring transparency and alignment with actual usage. Wine, spirits and beer are available on board as part of the experience, intended for normal and balanced enjoyment. In more remote regions, particularly in the Caribbean and Pacific, availability becomes more limited and costs increase significantly. Where needed, a curated selection is maintained, with the option to request additional or more specific preferences at cost.
Can companies or private groups take part?
Private groups and company retreats can be accommodated within specific structures, aligned with the rhythm and philosophy of the journey. The private yacht option also allows for a more personal setting, suitable for families with children, as well as more intimate moments such as honeymoons.
