The Offshore Membership: Up to Forty Days, Full Priority, and Everything the Circle Provides

The Offshore membership is for the person for whom the offshore sailing life has become a recurring part of the year rather than a single annual event. Up to forty days per year aboard the Eighty2, spread across multiple legs, in multiple regions of the circumnavigation, as the journey moves from the Mediterranean through the Atlantic and the Caribbean and the Pacific and the Indian Ocean and back.

The one-time membership fee is €5,000. The annual participation is €29,000. Everything the Coastal membership provides is included and extended in four specific directions that the forty-day commitment warrants.

Everything From the Coastal Tier — And More

The Offshore member has the full Circle membership from day one: the physical membership card, the digital platform access, the digital sessions with distinguished speakers several times per year, the personal coaching across the eight areas that the Circle provides, the onshore gatherings with the Long Table, the rituals of the crossing, the partner network, and the Naora welcome kit.

All of this is the foundation. The Offshore tier extends it in four directions that the returning, multi-leg member specifically needs.

Personal Travel Concierge

The personal travel concierge is the service that converts the logistics of the international offshore boarding from the member’s administrative challenge into the Naora team’s operational responsibility. Forty days per year across multiple legs in multiple oceans means multiple flights, multiple boarding ports, multiple pre-boarding hotels, multiple transfer arrangements.

The Offshore member who is flying from London to Papeete for the Pacific leg, continuing to Rarotonga for the Cook Islands chapter, and boarding again from Aqaba for the Red Sea, this member is not researching the routing and the accommodation and the transfer options independently.

The concierge handles the specific flight routing recommendation, the pre-boarding hotel at the right distance from the marina, the marina transfer with the exact entrance details that prevent the night-arrival confusion, and the briefing on what to bring for the specific leg’s climate and activities.

The concierge is the service that makes forty days per year practically achievable.

Invitations to Curated Onshore Gatherings

The Offshore member receives invitations to the curated gatherings that the Circle organises at key moments in the journey, aligned with where the expedition moves, in locations chosen with care. The gatherings are never fully planned. They unfold over a few days: arrivals staggered, days open, evenings shared. Some members come from the yacht; others from different parts of the world. Time on the water, exploration ashore, unplanned moments.

The Long Table on the last evening. The Circle gathered in the specific quality that only the people who have been through the offshore experience together can produce when they are in the same place again on land.

These gatherings are intentional in location, selected because they connect naturally to the expedition, meaningful and distinct, never arbitrary and unscheduled in character. A gathering should feel like an arrival, not an event.

Enhanced Comfort and Priority Cabin Selection

The Eighty2 has six private cabins, each designed for double occupancy, plus a bunk cabin. The Offshore member is not allocated the available cabin as a function of booking order, they have priority access to the cabin that suits their preference and their comfort requirements. The forward cabin for the person who sleeps best in the bow’s motion.

The aft cabin for the person who wants the stern light and the direct access to the dive platform at six in the morning. The cabin that is furthest from the galley for the member who sleeps lightly. Across forty days and multiple legs, the cabin matters in a way it does not for the one-week annual stay. The priority is the Offshore tier’s acknowledgement of this.

For the solo traveller: by default, single guests are accommodated in the bunk cabin at no additional cost. For those who prefer a private cabin, single occupancy can be arranged upon availability, typically equivalent to +50% additional days rather than a financial surcharge. The structure remains consistent without impacting the overall value.

Early Access to Availability — Fifteen Days Before Standard Opening

Individual leg segments are typically released sixty days before departure. Offshore members see the availability fifteen days earlier, at seventy-five days before departure, before the Coastal members and before the general Circle opening.

For the member whose year contains specific offshore windows that the professional calendar creates and the sailing calendar needs to accommodate, the fifteen-day advantage is the practical tool that makes the preferred dates reliably achievable. The Atlantic crossing in November. The Caribbean January window. The Pacific opening in March. These legs fill. The Offshore member sees them before they do.

Unused Days and Carry-Over

Up to ten unused days from the annual allocation carry over into the following season. The offshore sailing life fits into the high-performing professional career differently in different years, the year with the product launch or the acquisition or the family event that compressed the available offshore windows produces fewer days used than the year that produced the clean calendar.

The carry-over is not a bureaucratic concession. It is the recognition that the commitment of the Offshore membership deserves the flexibility that the variable year requires. Alternatively, unused days can be shared with someone close — allowing the experience to extend beyond the member’s own time on board.
