Naora Membership: How It Works and Which Option Is Right for You

The Naora voyage departs Bodrum in May 2027 and returns to the Mediterranean in January 2032. In between: the Atlantic crossing, the Caribbean, Panama, the Pacific, the Coral Triangle, the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and back.

The Eighty2 carries twelve members per leg. The legs range from one week to four weeks. The membership is the access to the boat, to the community, to the programme, and to the five years of offshore sailing that the circumnavigation produces.

There are two categories of membership: individual access for the person who comes aboard as themselves, and corporate access for the organisation that brings the offshore experience to a team or a leadership group. Within each category, the options are straightforward. Here is what each one provides.

What Every Member Gets — Regardless of Option

Before the differences, the foundation that all memberships share. Every Naora member receives:

A personal Naora membership card — the physical confirmation of membership that opens access to every part of the programme.

Full access to the Circle app on desktop and mobile, the platform where members select and book their legs, register for digital sessions and onshore events, connect with the Naora community, and explore partner offers. The Circle app is where the membership lives between legs.

Digital sessions every two months — a captain of industry, a specialist, or a thinker invited into the Circle for a sixty-minute conversation that the Naora community attends live. No recording. No summary document. For the people who showed up.

Onshore events — curated gatherings in the cities and regions where the Naora community gathers between legs. Bookable through the Circle app.

Partner access — a curated selection of partner offers and experiences available exclusively through the Circle app, from gear to travel to services aligned with the Naora profile.

Personal guidance from day one — from the first conversation to the last leg, every member has direct personal support from the Naora team. Not a ticketing system. Not a FAQ. A person.

Individual Membership

Individual membership is for the person who comes aboard as themselves — solo, with a partner, or as part of the broader Naora community that each leg assembles from the members who have booked it. The two individual options are the Standard Membership and the Season Pass.

Standard Membership

The Standard Membership is the entry point: full Circle membership and the ability to book any leg of the circumnavigation at the standard leg rate. The member selects the leg that fits their schedule and their part of the world — one week in the Mediterranean, three weeks in the Pacific, two weeks in the Indonesian archipelago. The legs are available in the Circle app and bookable year-round as the route progresses. The member can book one leg or several, each time joining the twelve-person group that the booking creates.

Partners are welcome. The leg that is booked for two occupies, two of the twelve berths, and the offshore experience — the passage, the diving programme, the Long Table — is the same whether it is experienced solo or with the person you came with. Several members have described a Naora leg as the travel experience their relationship needed: the specific quality of the offshore context that removes the domestic routine and replaces it with the shared challenge and the shared table and the shared silence of the offshore night.

The Standard Membership is suited for the person who wants to join the voyage for a specific chapter — a particular ocean, a particular season, a particular window in their schedule — without committing to a full year’s legs in advance.

The Season Pass

The Season Pass is for the member who wants more than one leg per year without booking each one individually at the standard rate. The pass provides access to a defined number of legs within the twelve-month validity period at a rate that reflects the commitment of the multi-leg member in one specific region.

The specific terms of the Season Pass — the number of legs included — are available on request directly from the Naora team.

The Season Pass suits the member whose schedule allows for multiple offshore windows per year and who wants the flexibility to plan across several legs of the circumnavigation without the administrative overhead of booking each separately. It also suits the person for whom the offshore experience is becoming a recurring part of the year rather than a single trip — the member who has been on one leg and knows they will want another.

Who Individual Membership Is For

The individual membership attracts a specific kind of person. The founder between projects who wants the specific quality of the offshore reset that the voyage produces. The senior executive who has four weeks of accumulated holiday and wants to use them in the form that the Mediterranean coast hotel cannot provide. The professional who has been high-performing for twenty years and who is looking for the context that makes the reflection possible rather than just the destination that postpones it.

Partners who want to share the experience — including those celebrating a milestone, an anniversary, or a honeymoon in the form of the offshore adventure rather than the resort — are as welcome as solo members. The Naora leg is not a group tour. It is twelve individuals who happen to be sharing a boat in the same ocean at the same time, and the chemistry of the Long Table and the passage and the dive and the anchorage produces the connections it produces without the programme requiring them.

Corporate Access

Corporate Access is for the organisation that wants to bring the offshore experience to a leadership group, a high-performing team, or a group of key relationships. The Eighty2 chartered exclusively for a corporate group creates a context that no conference facility, no team retreat centre, and no offsite venue produces in the same form: the offshore environment as the specific condition that removes the positional hierarchy, the office dynamic, and the performance management of the professional context and replaces them with the shared challenge and the genuine conversation that the boat and the ocean and the Long Table produce.

Corporate Access is available as a private charter of the full vessel — twelve berths, the full crew of the Eighty2, for the leg duration and the ocean region that the organisation selects. The programme during the corporate leg is designed in collaboration with the Naora team: the combination of the offshore sailing activities — the passage, the diving programme, the water sports, the land visits — with the structured programme elements that the organisation wants to incorporate.

The Corporate Programme Options

The corporate programme can be configured at different levels of intensity and with different specialist elements depending on the organisation’s objectives. The base level is the offshore experience itself — the sailing, the diving, the Long Table, the passage — which produces the team dynamic and the conversation quality that the onshore offsite cannot replicate without any additional facilitation. The enhanced levels add the specialist elements:

Executive coaching at sea. One or more executive coaches join the corporate leg and work with the leadership group in the specific context of the offshore environment — the conversations that the passage and the anchorage and the shared challenge make possible and that the boardroom consistently prevents. The coaching programme is designed around the organisation’s objectives and the individuals in the group, and delivered in the form that the offshore context enables rather than the format the coaching industry defaults to.

Psychological wellbeing programme. A licensed psychologist or organisational psychologist joins the leg to work with the group on the specific themes that the organisation identifies: leadership resilience, team cohesion, the management of high performance and its costs, transition and change. The offshore environment is the specific context in which these conversations happen most honestly — the psychologist who has been on the Atlantic passage with a leadership group and has sat at the Long Table with them describes the access that the offshore context provides as qualitatively different from the consulting room or the workshop.

Leadership development programme. A structured leadership development curriculum delivered across the leg — combining the offshore experiences with facilitated sessions, individual reflection exercises, and group work that the programme framework defines and the offshore context delivers. The leg as the MBA module that the MBA cannot provide because the MBA does not put the participant on the ocean.

All corporate programmes are bespoke. The structure, the specialist brought aboard, the balance between the offshore activities and the facilitated programme elements, the objectives the organisation wants to achieve: all of these are designed in direct collaboration with the Naora team before the leg departs. The boat and the ocean provide the context. The programme provides the direction.

Who Corporate Access Is For

The organisations that use Corporate Access are the organisations that understand the specific limitation of the conventional offsite: the venue that is still an office by other means, the facilitated session in the conference room that produces the same dynamic as the meeting room the participants left, the team building activity that nobody takes seriously and that produces the forced cheerfulness rather than the genuine connection.

The Eighty2 at anchor in the Coral Triangle or the Caribbean or the Red Sea is not an office by other means. It is the environment that the conventional offsite is trying to produce and cannot, because it is still on land.

Corporate Access is suited for the leadership team that is navigating a significant transition — a merger, a new strategic direction, a leadership succession — and that needs the quality of conversation that the offshore context enables. It is suited for the high-performing team that has the results but has lost the cohesion. It is suited for the organisation that wants to reward and retain the people whose performance has made the organisation what it is and who need to feel that the organisation understands what genuine recognition looks like beyond the bonus and the dinner.

The Private Yacht Option

Beyond the corporate charter of the Eighty2 with the standard Naora programme, the Private Yacht option is the most exclusive configuration: the full vessel, the full crew, the full five-year circumnavigation route, for the group that wants the offshore experience in the specific form of the private voyage rather than the shared membership programme.

The Private Yacht option is available for individual legs and for extended multi-leg arrangements, and it is the configuration for the family group, the small private circle, or the individual and their guests who want the Naora offshore experience without the broader membership community sharing the leg.

The Private Yacht option includes everything: the Eighty2 and the full Naora crew, the navigation and the passage under Sven and Ludo, the Long Table every evening, and the full Circle membership for every person aboard. The route and the leg duration are agreed in advance. The programme is built around the group’s preferences. The ocean provides the rest.

Where to Start

Every membership begins with a conversation. Not a sales call: a genuine exchange about what you are looking for, which leg makes sense for your schedule, and whether the Naora voyage is the right context for what you want from the offshore experience.

The conversation is thirty minutes and it produces a clear picture of the option that fits. The Eighty2 departs Bodrum in May 2027. The legs are filling.
