The Ocean Explorer: One Hundred Days, Single Occupancy, and the Deepest Access the Naora Circle Offers

One hundred days per year. The Ocean Explorer membership is the offshore sailing life as a way of living rather than a way of travelling. The one-time membership fee is €5,000. The annual participation is €59,000. Everything the Offshore membership provides is included and extended in four specific directions that the hundred-day, priority-access, fully-flexible Ocean Explorer commitment warrants.

This is the deepest individual engagement the Naora Circle offers, the membership for the person whose year is structured around the offshore life rather than the offshore life being structured around the year.

The Full Circle, At Its Most Complete

The Ocean Explorer has the full Circle membership in the most complete form the Naora programme provides. The physical membership card. Full digital platform access. Digital sessions with distinguished speakers — intimate, private, several times per year, from any port in the world. Personal coaching across all eight areas: leadership and decision-making, entrepreneurship and growth, crypto and digital assets, purpose and direction, financial strategy, startup and venture, relationships and communication, physical and mental capital. Invitations to every curated onshore gathering.

The Long Table at every gathering. The rituals: the First Night Watch, the Logbook, the First Ocean Crossing, the Equator ceremony, the Postcard from every port. The partner network with its preferred conditions and curated benefits. The Naora maritime attire. The welcome kit.

At one hundred days per year across the five-year circumnavigation, the Ocean Explorer is not the occasional visitor to the Circle. They are among its most consistent presences, the members whose accumulated time aboard the Eighty2 and within the Circle community produces the depth of the relationships and the offshore reference that the Naora programme was built to provide in its fullest form.

Single Occupancy Without Supplement

The Ocean Explorer tier provides single occupancy without the solo supplement that the maritime accommodation industry applies as standard. One hundred days per year, across multiple legs across multiple oceans, without the financial penalty that the solo traveller normally encounters. The cabin is the Ocean Explorer’s cabin for the duration of each leg, regardless of whether it is shared with a partner or used independently.

This is not a small benefit at the scale of the hundred-day annual commitment, it is the structural acknowledgement that the Ocean Explorer’s relationship with the offshore life is the relationship of the person for whom the boat is a recurring home rather than an occasional guest room.

Early Access to Availability. Thirty Days Before Standard Opening

The Ocean Explorer sees the leg calendar thirty days before the standard sixty-day opening, ninety days before departure. Double the Offshore tier’s fifteen-day advantage.

For the member planning one hundred days across the year, the thirty-day early access window is not a convenience but a necessity: the complex multi-leg year that spans the Mediterranean spring, the Atlantic autumn crossing, the Caribbean winter, and the Pacific opening requires the member to see these legs available before the general release to secure the specific combination the schedule requires. Ninety days is the planning horizon that one hundred days per year demands. The Ocean Explorer tier provides it.

Priority Access Across All Journey Segments

Priority access across all journey segments, not just the early availability window but the structural priority that ensures the Ocean Explorer member’s preferred legs are secured before the competition of the broader membership pool makes the most sought-after segments unavailable in the dates the member requires. The Atlantic crossing.

The Galapagos-to-Marquesas Pacific passage. The Coral Triangle chapter. The Red Sea offshore chapter with the Brothers Islands and the Daedalus Reef. These are the legs that the full membership wants. The Ocean Explorer has the priority that the hundred-day annual commitment warrants.

The Ability to Extend the Experience to Family or Friends

The Ocean Explorer‘s hundred days can be shared. The partner who joins for the Caribbean leg. The close friend whose schedule created the Pacific window. The family member who has been told about the offshore sailing life enough times to be ready to experience it.

The adult child whose gap year contains the offshore chapter. The Ocean Explorer membership is not the solo commitment at one hundred days per year, it is the flexible access to the offshore sailing life that the member can extend to the people they choose, within the hundred days that the annual participation provides.

This sharing provision is also the provision that makes the Ocean Explorer tier work for the couple who wants to move between the full Ocean Explorer commitment for one partner and the shared experience for both — the second person’s days drawn from the Ocean Explorer’s hundred, without the additional annual participation that the separate membership would require.

Twenty Unused Days Carry-Over

Up to twenty unused days carry over into the following season, the most generous carry-over of any individual tier, reflecting the scale of the hundred-day commitment and the reality that the year which produces fewer offshore windows than the plan anticipated should not penalise the member whose commitment to the programme is the deepest the individual membership provides.

The twenty days remain available. The membership year does not produce the pressure to use days that the year did not create the space for.
