The departure is fixed. Bodrum, Turkey. May 2027. The Eighty2 leaves the marina at the start of the Aegean sailing season and the circumnavigation begins. The first legs are the Greek islands, then the Ionian, then westward through the Tyrrhenian and the Balearics to Gibraltar. The Atlantic crossing follows in the autumn, the trade wind window that every westbound circumnavigation uses. The Caribbean by December 2027. Panama in early 2028. The Pacific in the spring.
This is the frame. Inside the frame, the question for the member is not when we leave but when they join. The departure is ours. The joining is theirs, and the joining can happen at any of the boarding ports the route provides across five years of continuous sailing.
The question where will you join us is the honest form of the invitation: not come for all of it, which is the invitation of the expedition that requires the full commitment, but come for the part that fits, which is the invitation of the voyage that has been designed for the member’s life rather than requiring the member’s life to be designed for the voyage.
The Boarding Windows
The Mediterranean legs board continuously from May 2027 through the summer and autumn of that year: the Aegean islands in May and June, the Ionian in July, the Italian coast in August, the French and Spanish Mediterranean in September, Gibraltar in October. The member who wants the cultural density of the Mediterranean opening chapter boards in this window and departs at whichever port along the route fits their timeline.
The Atlantic crossing boards at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in November 2027 for the three-week passage to the Caribbean. The Caribbean legs board at the various island ports from December 2027 through March 2028. Panama boards in April 2028 for the Pacific departure. The Galapagos is accessible from Panama in May 2028, and the Marquesas is the arrival after the three-week Pacific crossing.
The Tuamotu atolls, the Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji, and the approach to Vanuatu follow across the remainder of 2028 and into 2029. The Indonesian archipelago opens in mid-2029 and continues through 2030. The Indian Ocean legs board from late 2030. The Red Sea and the return to the Mediterranean close the route in 2031 and early 2032.

The Specific Invitation
We leave Bodrum in May 2027. The route is planned, the vessel is being configured, the Circle is being assembled from the conversations that the link connects to. What is not fixed is where you join. The Aegean, if the Mediterranean opener is the right chapter for you now. The Pacific, if the open ocean passage is what your timing and your curiosity and the specific quality of your three available weeks in 2029 makes available.
The Indonesian archipelago, if the Coral Triangle diving and the Banda Sea cultural density is the combination your particular version of the Naora voyage requires. The Indian Ocean, if the approach to Galle and the Red Sea finale is the chapter that fits the 2030 or 2031 window your life provides.
We leave Bodrum in May 2027. The boat keeps moving. Every boarding port along the way is the right port for the member whose timing arrives there. The call is where the conversation about which port that is begins.
